Our Yoga Trapeze Teacher Training program is also known as Zero Impact Lymphatic Drainage Inversion Therapy.   It is a type of yoga which uses a yoga swing or yoga trapeze which allows students to perform postures that they may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the yoga mat.

​It combines traditional yoga with postures with the use of the yoga swing, it is a practice where we use full yogic or ujjayi breathing and we aim to involve a component of exploration, fun, core work and relaxation.  This is a Non-residential program.  If you wish to stay at the school's housing, kindly drop us a message and book your accommodation ahead of time.

Sound is one of the most profound methods of healing since ancient times.  It is a waveform which moves through and penetrates matter therefore it is not just what we can hear. This is why sound it has the potential to alter every dimension of our being.   Sound Therapy is a healing modality which induces a deep state of relaxation helps reduce levels of stress, anxiety, insomnia, inability to focus, to let go, and many emotional issues.  It has also been reported to help reduce mood swings, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels, reduce risk of coronary issues as well as help in the process of pain management.  Sound therapies can also be used a tool to deepen the quality one’s spiritual practices as well as unleashing the ability for self-healing.

In this program you will understand the nature of restorative yoga which is a beautiful and deep practice that allows the students to use gentle yoga postures with the aid of yoga props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets, belts and chairs. 

The practice can be done in a group session or as an individual class.  It can be also tailored to the needs of the client as well as learning the use of everyday home objects such as blankets, pillows and cushions as props. 

​The support given in all asanas allows the student to (as the word says) “restore” or reset the body, mind and spirit.  The practice deepen’s one’s meditative state, one’s creative process and aids self-awareness.

DEAR YOGA THERAPY STUDENTS,

All the information you need for your case study and for further reading has been uploaded here.  Make sure you download all the files to your device (computer, tablet, email etc) before you arrive to varkala, as the internet connection in the residency, the cafe and the yellow house have a daily bandwidth quota of 2-3GB per day per house and it will be very difficult for every participant to download all of them while being here without affecting the daily quota, once the quota is finished, everyone will need to wait til 24 hrs to use the internet again. 

All these files are more than 10 GB.  It is crucial that you download the Information regarding Case Study, Books for Teacher Training & Yoga Nidra as you will be using these when you are in varkala.  All other information is for your reference and we think you might find it useful as part of your continuous education.  Enjoy!
